Meet the Groomers
Josh and Danielle met in September 2024 at Easton College when partnered together for their first ever dog grooming practical.
Josh Atkin decided to retrain as a dog groomer after being a chef for 14 years, as he fancied a change and wanted to pursue his true passion of animals.
Danielle Garnham trained as an Animal Physiotherapist at Writtle University and started training as a dog groomer for a side business idea, but instead fell in love with it so much, it is now her main focus.
The pair are currently undertaking their City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog grooming after gaining their Level 2 qualification. Along side, Danielle is currently studying Level 3 Canine care, behaviour and welfare and Level 3 Canine massage.
Meet the dogs behind the name
Luna the black labrador ~The Goose of Goose and Lettuce~ Luna is a 4 year old labrador who loves nothing more than running with her horsey friends and cuddling a fluffy teddy. Luna got her nickname from getting so excited on a walk as a puppy she would honk like a goose.
Harper the Black and Tan German Shepherd ~The Lettuce of Goose and Lettuce~ Harper is a 7 year old German Shepherd who loves nothing more than chasing her ball and watching her axolotl bestie, Lottie. Harper got her nickname from being "not the bravest" and a little bit silly, so was likened to a wet lettuce.
